Dosage for Garden Formula

15 ml = 1 tablespoon

5 ml = 1 teaspoon

Dosage and application

• Young, small or sensitive garden plants
  5 ml per 1 liter water
  Start lightly, especially with seedlings, newly planted plants or sensitive varieties.
• Garden plants during active growth
  8–10 ml per 1 liter water
  Use as the standard dosage for established vegetables, herbs, flowers and ornamental plants that are actively growing.
• Large, vigorous or nutrient-demanding plants
  10–15 ml per 1 liter water
  Suitable for larger plants, container-grown plants and crops that are growing vigorously or require more nutrition.

How often to use

During active growth, feed your garden plants once every 7–10 days. Regular feeding at a suitable dosage works better than occasionally applying a high dose.

Adjust the dosage and frequency according to the season, weather, growing location, plant size and growth rate. Apply the diluted feed onto slightly moist soil and distribute it around the root zone.

Seasonal feeding guide

• March–May
  Begin feeding as plants start actively growing. Start lightly with seedlings, young plants and recently planted crops, then gradually increase the dosage as they become established.
• June–September
  Feed regularly while vegetables, herbs, flowers and ornamental plants are growing vigorously. Larger plants, container-grown plants and demanding crops may need a higher dosage within the recommended range.
• October–February
  Reduce the dosage or extend the interval as temperatures fall and growth slows. Stop feeding temporarily when plants are dormant or no longer actively growing.

The highlighted months are indicative. Weather, growing location and the type of plant can cause the growing season to begin earlier or end later. Follow the plant’s growth rather than the calendar alone. Plants grown in containers may require more regular feeding than plants in open soil because available nutrients can be depleted or washed out more quickly.

Combining with Sea-Prime

For additional support during active growth, alternate Garden Formula with Sea-Prime. Use Garden Formula for one feeding, Sea-Prime for the next, and then Garden Formula again. Continue repeating this alternating cycle throughout the feeding season.

Use 5–10 ml Sea-Prime per 1 liter water when applying it through watering. You do not need to mix or apply both products during the same feeding.

Sea-Prime through the roots or leaves?

Use Sea-Prime through watering around the roots as part of the regular alternating routine. Alternatively, apply it as a foliar spray at 2–5 ml per 1 liter water during active growth or when plants need additional support.

Apply as a foliar spray preferably early in the morning or later in the day and never in full sun. Spray both sides of the leaves lightly and evenly, paying particular attention to the undersides, where most stomata—tiny pores through which plants exchange gases—are located.

• Always dilute the selected product with water before use.
• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Use the mixed solution preferably on the same day.
• Do not apply to completely dry soil.
• Always begin with a low dosage for young or sensitive plants.
• Do not apply Sea-Prime as a foliar spray in full sun, during high temperatures or shortly before rain.
• Store tightly closed in a cool, dark, dry and frost-free place between 5°C and 25°C.
• Natural sedimentation may occur; this is normal for products made from plant-based raw materials.

Packaging, transport and storage

All Garden Gold products should be stored and transported tightly closed, dry, frost-free, and protected from direct sunlight.

• Store at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C so that the stated shelf life of at least two years can be achieved.
• Avoid large or sudden temperature fluctuations, as these may cause crystals to form.
• Our products contain no preservatives. Prolonged storage under unfavourable conditions may therefore affect their stability.
• Shake or stir the product thoroughly before use to restore an even consistency.
