Our Story

My name is Jason Jeffers, founder of GARDEN GOLD ORGANICS. My journey began more than 30 years ago in my own garden, driven by a passion for organic and sustainable gardening: feeding the soil, saving water, and protecting our planet.

Out of frustration with existing fertilizers – often based on vinasse with a salt content of up to 2%, or animal by-products that attracted pests and caused unpleasant odors – I decided in 2018 to develop a superior, plant-based solution myself. And this led to the creation of GARDEN GOLD: powerful, liquid organic fertilizers that are easy to use while nourishing both soil and plants.

I spent seven years developing an optimal nutrient profile, based on plant biology and scientific research. The result is a balanced formula with professional plant extracts, seaweed, amino acids, and humic and fulvic acids added as natural chelators. These act as small “binders” that hold nutrients, preventing them from washing away and ensuring they remain available to the plant.

Every GARDEN GOLD formula contains at least 10% seaweed extract and 12% amino acids, supplemented with silicon dioxide (silicic acid) for stronger plants and Betaine for improved stress resistance. For extra protection against stress and environmental influences, I developed Sea-Prime: a powerful formula with 24% bioactive seaweed extract, 20% amino acids, and extra iron. Sea-Prime is particularly effective for leafy vegetables, lawns, sports fields, and golf courses, where strong growth and vitality are essential.

My advice is simple: use plenty of compost to enrich the soil – it does not need to be worked in – and then add GARDEN GOLD to your watering schedule. For the ultimate boost, I recommend applying Sea-Prime as a foliar fertilizer with every second feeding – this way your plants get exactly the protection and energy they need to grow strong, healthy, and vibrant.

I personally stand behind my products. I use them in my own test garden, on my terrace, and for my houseplants, and I consistently achieve excellent results. This is the “good stuff”.
