Dosage for Sea-Prime

5 ml = 1 teaspoon

10 ml = approximately 2 teaspoons

Dosage and application

• Through watering around the roots
  5–10 ml per 1 liter water
  Use this as the standard application method for regular support. Apply the diluted solution to slightly moist soil and distribute it around the root zone.
• As a foliar spray
  2–5 ml per 1 liter water
  Use for fast, targeted support during active growth, recovery or when root uptake is temporarily limited by unfavourable growing conditions. Apply a light, even mist to both sides of the leaves, paying particular attention to the undersides.
• Young or sensitive plants
  Begin with the lowest dosage
  Start with 5 ml per 1 liter water around the roots or 2 ml per 1 liter water as a foliar spray. Increase the dosage only when the plant responds well.

Applying Sea-Prime through watering around the roots is the simplest choice for regular use. Foliar application provides a faster, more targeted option when you want to apply Sea-Prime directly to the leaves. You do not need to use both application methods during the same treatment.

How often to use

Use Sea-Prime during active growth, normally once every 1–2 weeks. Regular application at a suitable dosage works better than occasional heavy application.

Adjust the dosage and frequency according to the season, growing conditions and growth rate of the plant. During winter or a clear resting period, reduce the dosage, extend the interval between applications or stop temporarily when the plant is no longer actively growing.

Using Sea-Prime as a foliar spray

Spray preferably early in the morning or later in the day and never in full sun. Apply a light, even mist to both sides of the leaves and pay particular attention to the undersides, where most stomata are located.

Do not apply Sea-Prime as a foliar spray during strong sunlight or high temperatures, shortly before rain or when the leaves are already wet.

Combining with a base fertiliser

Want to combine Sea-Prime with Houseplant Formula, Garden Formula or Tomato & Chile Formula? Use an alternating rhythm: apply your base fertiliser for one feeding, Sea-Prime for the next and then return to your base fertiliser. Continue repeating this alternating cycle during active growth.

When using Sea-Prime as part of this alternating routine, apply it through watering at 5–10 ml per 1 liter water. You do not need to mix or apply Sea-Prime and your base fertiliser during the same feeding.

Important

• Always dilute Sea-Prime with water before use.
• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Preferably use the mixed solution on the same day.
• Do not apply the solution around the roots to completely dry soil.
• Always begin with the lowest dosage for young or sensitive plants.
• Do not apply as a foliar spray in full sun, during high temperatures or shortly before rain.
• Keep tightly closed and store in a cool, dark, dry and frost-free place between 5°C and 30°C.
• Natural sedimentation may occur; this is normal for products made from plant-based raw materials.

Packaging, transport and storage

All Garden Gold products should be stored and transported tightly closed, dry, frost-free, and protected from direct sunlight.

• Store at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C so that the stated shelf life of at least two years can be achieved.
• Avoid large or sudden temperature fluctuations, as these may cause crystals to form.
• Our products contain no preservatives. Prolonged storage under unfavourable conditions may therefore affect their stability.
• Shake or stir the product thoroughly before use to restore an even consistency.
