Why Sugar Beet Vinasse is High in Salt

• Molasses as a source: Beet molasses, the precursor for vinasse, is rich in minerals and salts.
• Extraction process: The alcohol distillation process concentrates these dissolved salts in the remaining liquid byproduct, vinasse.
